US solar microinverter and battery systems maker Enphase Energy Inc (NASDAQ:ENPH) has set foot on the Finnish photovoltaic (PV) market by introducing its IQ8 microinverters in the Nordic country.

The company said on Tuesday that the move is part of its European expansion.

Enphase will be marketing three types of microinverters with a peak output of 330 W, 366 W and 384 W, respectively. All of them are designed to pair with various PV modules with capacities of up to 560 W DC.

The hardware is already available for order by distributors and installers.

“Our industry-leading products combined with our dedication to excellent customer service will help installers in the region expand their businesses without sacrificing quality,” said Sabbas Daniel, senior vice president of sales at Enphase Energy.

1KOMMA5 Nordics is partnering with Enphase to distribute its products in Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Last October, the US firm launched its IQ8 microinverters and batteries in Greece, aiming to benefit from the expansion of the Balkan country’s residential solar and battery market.
