Estonian renewables developer Enefit Green AS (TAL:EGR1T) said today that it has completed the installation of the last turbine of the 255-MW Sopi-Tootsi wind farm at home and is rolling up its sleeves to start the constriction of an 87-MW wind park in Lithuania.

The Baltic company wrapped up the installation of the 38th machine of the Sopi-Tootsi facility on Wednesday. The site, located in the municipality of Pohja-Parnumaa, Northern Parnu County, is touted as the largest wind farm in the Baltics.

On Friday, the renewables developer will formally launch the construction works on a new project -- the 87-MW Kelme II wind farm in Lithuania. The scheme represents the second of the three namesake projects.

In between those events, Enefit has also inaugurated the 43-MW Silale II wind farm in Lithuania.

The company further highlighted that with the completion of installation works at the Sopi-Tootsi facility, its total installed power generation capacity has topped 1,000 MW.

The renewables developer’s current portfolio of operational capacity stands at 587 MW. About 637 MW of new capacities are under construction, of which 459 MW have already been installed.
