Etem to supply structures for two solar rooftops in Romania in 2013

Romanian aluminum systems maker Etem Systems said on Tuesday it will provide the aluminum structures for two rooftop solar arrays with a combined capacity of 1.8 megawatts (MW), both developed by Consplan Management.

One of the installations, with a capacity of 1.4 MW, will be stationed on a factory in the western city of Timisoara, Etem Systems said in a statement, adding that works will start in 2013.

The other photovoltaic system, with a capacity of 0.4 MW, will be on the roof of a production facility in Bucharest and is expected to be connected to the grid by mid-January, the statement added.

Etem System, part of the Greek metallurgical group Viohalco, has been present on the Romanian construction market since 2003. It produces aluminum systems for architectural and industrial applications.
Romanian Consplan Management, set up in 2009, specialises in the development and management of renewable energy projects.
