Better Energy to delay 3 GW of Danish PV projects amid negative prices
Sep 19, 2024 11:14 CESTDanish renewable energy company European Energy AS said it had together with a partner signed a conditional agreement on the sale of solar PV plants with a total capacity of 50.4 MW to a fund managed by Allianz Global Investors GmbH.
The assets are 50%-owned by European Energy.
The agreement is conditional on successful due diligence outcomes and the Danish Transmission Authority deciding on the feed-in-tariff applicable for the plants.
The purchase price will depend on a number of factors, including the financing terms, which are not yet finalised, the statement said.
