Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTSep 28, 2012 - The Export-Import Bank of the US (Ex-Im Bank) has provided a USD-6.4-million (EUR 5m) loan guarantee to finance the export of solar modules from SolarWorld Americas, a unit of German SolarWorld AG (ETR:SWV), for a 1.4-MW solar project in Barbados.
The bank has partnered with US lender PNC Bank, a unit of PNC Financial Services (NYSE:PNC) to provide the 10-year loan guarantee, it said in a statement today.
Barbados-based company Williams Industries Inc-Williams Evergreen Ltd of Brabados will use the solar power system to provide power to ten sites in the portfolio of diversified group of companies Williams Group.
US engineering firm CH2M HILL of Colorado provided engineering services and Schletter Inc delivered solar system racking for the solar system. SolarWorld Americas has some 1,000 employees in Oregon and California, the Ex-Im Bank added.
