Singapore-headquartered real estate company GLP said Thursday that GLP Clean Energy has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with European fast charging company Fastned (AMS:FAST) for a 16.2-MWp rooftop solar installation in the Netherlands.

The solar array was completed last year at logistics complex G-Park Zevenaar. The PPA will see Fastned offtake all the power generated by the installation for its fast charging stations in the Netherlands. The contract was managed through independent energy operator Scholt Energy.

Fastned said the multi-year agreement supports its policy to have stable pricing.

“The signing of this PPA agreement with Fastned closely follows our recent PPA announcements in the Netherlands and Spain, building further momentum in our clean energy initiative and in particular in our rooftop PV programme on logistics buildings,” commented Stefano Fissolo, Senior Director of GLP Clean Energy for Europe.
