The Umari wind complex is located between the municipalities of Monte das Gameleiras, Sao Jose do Campestre, Serra de Sao Bento and Lagoa D'anta in Rio Grande do Norte state. It will feature 45 turbines in total.
The partnership with Casa dos Ventos, under which Mosaic Fertilizantes can also become a self-producer of clean energy, is subject to the approval of Brazil's antitrust regulator CADE.
