Polish wind energy investor Figene Capital SA (WSE:FIG) said on Monday that its unit Figene Energia started from January 1, 2023, the supply of renewable power to Polish clothing retailer LLP SA (WSE:LLP) under a long-term contract.

The power purchase agreement (PPA) envisages the delivery of 35,800 MWh of wind energy annually for the next 10 years with an option to extend the contract for another five years.

The agreement involves the sale of electricity produced by Figene group's member, Take the Wind, which has a 3.5-MW wind farm in Zlotow, the central Wielkopolskie province.

The Figene group operates in the production, distribution and trade of wind energy. The company has a portfolio of wind projects in Poland with a potential capacity of 118 MW, most of which have secured key building permits for their implementation, the company said in its third-quarter report.
