Suomen Lantakaasu, Atria take FID on EUR-60m Finnish biogas plant
Sep 09, 2024 11:58 CESTOct 14, 2011 - Finnish industrial machinery company Metso Oyj (HEL:MEO1V) said today it will supply a biomass-fired steam boiler for a milk processing plant in the Lapinlahti district of Helsinki.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
The customer is dairy company Valio Oy.
MW Power, a joint venture of Metso and Finnish Wartsila Corp (HEL:WRTBV), will deliver the boiler, including all necessary installations, commissioning and the Metso DNA automation system.
The boiler, which is expected to be completed in the spring of 2013, will be fuelled by biomass such as wood chips and peat.
