Statkraft signs PPA to power Finland's Wihuri with renewables
Sep 19, 2024 10:54 CESTJan 2, 2012 - Finnish construction group Yit Oyj (HEL:YTY1V) said today it would design and build the foundations for 90 onshore wind turbines of local wind energy company TuuliWatti Oy.
No financial details were mentioned.
The wind parks are due to start operations by the end of 2015.
TuuliWatti intends to invest around EUR 400 million (USD 518m) in industrial-scale wind farms over the next few years, According to the plan, the company will produce up to one-fifth of Finland's wind power, CEO Jari Suominenthe said.
TuuliWatti is a joint venture of energy company St1 Oy and cooperative organisation S Group.
