First Associates to service Green Grants' home solar lease portfolio in Louisiana

Jul 24, 2012 - US residential solar lease services provider Green Grants has contracted consumer loan servicing firm First Associates Loan Servicing to service its solar power lease portfolio in the state of Louisiana, the latter said in a statement today.

Under the agreement, First Associates will service the customers of Green Grants' residential solar power lease programme.

The residential solar power lease programme of Green Grants covers the upfront cost for the installation of a solar system. Thus it enables homeowners to take advantage from federal and state tax credits and cut costs for setting up solar power systems by 80% in return for a monthly payment to Green Grants. The programme can reduce the monthly energy bill by up to USD 100 (EUR 82.6m), according to First Associates.
