First Hydrogen Corp (CVE:FHYD) on Friday said it has awarded a feasibility study contract to Canadian engineering company Sacre-Davey for a 35-MW green hydrogen plant and vehicle assembly factory in Shawinigan, Quebec.

First Hydrogen plans a hydrogen-fuel-cell-powered vehicle (FCEV) assembly factory capable of producing 25,000 vehicles per year and a green hydrogen production facility to supply the company’s vehicles and other vehicles and uses in the Montreal-Quebec City region. It intends to distribute its FCEV throughout North America in combination with its Hydrogen as a Service product offering.
