Ammper Power to procure electricity from 50-MW solar park in Texas
Sep 20, 2024 5:46 CESTAug 15, 2013 - Ekologicheskaya Energiya plans to construct the first commercial PV power plant in Belarus, with a capacity of 17 MW, in the region of Hrodna, nov-ost.info reported, citing the regional administration office.
The project, located on an industrial land in the east of the city, will take 36.8 hectares (90.93 acres). The first construction phase includes PV facilities with a capacity of 5 MW, which are to be installed by June 2015. The next two phases, to be completed by December 2016 and July 2018, respectively, will boost the capacity by 6 MW each.
The planned investment for the project is valued at around EUR 31.6 million (USD 42m). Up to 50 new jobs are to be open after its completion.
