France's Akuo Energy to build 270 mln euro solar park in N. Macedonia - govt

French renewable energy power producer and developer Akuo Energy Sas Paris plans to invest 270 million euro ($303.2 million) in the construction of a solar park in North Macedonia, the government in Skopje said.

The solar park will have a total installed capacity of 350-400 MW, North Macedonia's government said in a statement on Tuesday.

Akuo Energy will implement the solar park project through a local company, Ostro Solar.

Paris-based Akuo Energy has 1.3 GW of projects in operation or under construction and additional over 5 GW of projects under development. The company operates in over 15 countries worldwide, according to data on its website.
