Alternus scraps deal for 80-MWp solar project purchase in US
Sep 20, 2024 7:40 CESTFeb 20, 2012 - French renewable energy group Aerowatt (EPA:ALWAT) has been selected to carry out three wind energy projects in the Antilles.
The company will carry out the projects Petite Place and Dadoud in Guadeloupe, and Dehaumont in Martinique.
The group has won the projects as part of a governmental tender called in France. The government selected wind projects for 95 MW in the French overseas departments Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guiana and Reunion, and on the island of Corsica.
Aerowatt is an independent renewable energy group which operates in the wind and solar power sectors. As of end-2011, the company operated 25 wind power plants representing a capacity of 106 MW, and 35 solar sites with a capacity of some 21 MWp.
Aerowatt obtained a label for innovative company in 2003 from state-run agency Oseo.
