French packaging group Albea agrees 12-MWp solar off-take deal
Sep 19, 2024 5:38 CEST(ADPnews) - Dec 13, 2010 - French state-owned utility EDF (EPA:EDF) will not buy solar energy at current rates for three months, according to a decree published on Friday in France's Official Journal.
During the three-month period, the utility, as well as non-nationalised electricity distributors, will not be obliged to pay the current prices for solar power, except for individual facilities, the government decided.
This move is aimed at setting lower rates for the purchased solar power.
Today at 1519 CET, the shares in EDF had eased by 0.47% to EUR 31.80 on Euronext Paris.
