French packaging group Albea agrees 12-MWp solar off-take deal
Sep 19, 2024 5:38 CEST(ADPnews) - Mar 22, 2010 - French solar power company Solar Euromed said on Friday it won an EUR 8-billion (USD-10.8bn) contract in Sudan to design, build and manage solar power plants over a 10-year period.
The contract has been awarded by the Ministry of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Sudan.
The units will have a total capacity of 2,000 MW.
The first two projects, for 150 MW and 100 MW, respectively, will be completed by 2013/2014, with a total investment of EUR 600 million.
Solar Euromed employs 20 and posts a revenue of some EUR 3 million annually.
