NTPC’s green energy arm eyes USD 1.2bn from Indian IPO
Sep 19, 2024 11:52 CESTUS solar racking solutions provider GameChange Solar has landed a contract to supply its trackers for a 750-MWp project located at the sprawling Khavda Solar Park in the Indian state of Gujarat.
The company announced on Tuesday that it has signed a tracker supply contract with Indian renewables EPC major Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (BOM:542760). The order involves the supply of GameChange Solar’s Genius Tracker product.
The Khavda Solar Park, also known as the Khavda Renewable Energy Park project, is a multi-stakeholder development. The project site stretches across 538 square kilometres of barren land in Gujarat, where as much as 30 GW of solar and wind farms are on track to be installed.
The order from Sterling and Wilson is one of GameChange Solar’s largest tracker installation projects outside the US, according to Vikas Bansal, President International at GameChange Solar.
"We are very thankful to Sterling & Wilson for their continued partnership and trust in our products and team as we reach a new milestone of 1 GW of projects together across three continents," Bansal said.
