The Georgian Energy Development Fund and Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation have launched a public auction to sell the 20.7-MW Qartli wind farm in Georgia’s Shida Kartli administrative region.

The parties interested in buying the holding company, Qartli Wind Farm LLC, must submit the required applications and documentation, including a bank guarantee, no later than October 31, 2019.

The auction will take place on November 15, 2019. The starting value of the bids is set at USD 14.25 million (EUR 12.9m).

The Qartli wind farm is located in the municipalities of Gori and Kareli and has been generating power since late 2016. The six-turbine plant’s estimated annual generation amounts to 84,100,000 kWh.
