Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CEST(SeeNews) – Sep 17, 2012 – German photovoltatic company Antaris Solar announced last week that the first of its mobile off-grid photovoltaic systems eKiss and Mini eKiss were commissioned in Cameroon as an entry to the African market.
The eKiss (energy – Keep it simple & safe) with a capacity of between 350 W and 2,000 W is expected to contribute to rural development in poor countries through generating completely stand-alone electricity using stored solar energy.
The mobile off-grid systems have also attracted the interest of development aid organisations as their mobility and ease of use enable energy production even in the most unfavourable circumstances.
