German investment firm acquires 6 MW wind installations

(SeeNews) – Oct 3, 2012 – Hamburg-based investment company Conetwork Renewable Energy Holding GmbH & Co. KgaA (CEE) said yesterday it expanded its wind power portfolio by acquiring two wind installations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany.

The two installations, which are situated in the wind farm Breesen-Teetzleben, are of the type Vestas V 112 and have a hub height of 119 metres (390 ft). The two installations have a capacity of 6 MW and will produce 16,000 MWh of clean energy annually. As a result, CEE will be able to provide some 5,300 households in Germany with eco-friendly electricity.

The wind park will be connected to the grid in the fourth quarter of 2012 and the produced energy will be fed into the network of German regional utility E.ON Edis AG.
