Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTDec 18, 2012 - German wind power services company Ostwind Group said today it sold four wind parks in Northern France to a service company active in the field of green energy.
Financial details and the name of the buyer were not mentioned.
The wind parks are located in the Communaute de communes de l’Atrebatie region in the Pas-de-Calais department. They have a total of 14 turbines with a total capacity of 42 MW.
Their construction began in September 2012 and operations are expected to start in the summer of 2013.
Fabien Kayser, head of Ostwind, said the company managed to sign the sales contracts despite the fact that the economic situation for the wind industry in France is currently difficult.
