OMV gets clearance to install 200-MW electrolyser in Austria
Sep 06, 2024 9:09 CESTJan 13, 2014 - Wood pellet producer German Pellets GmbH said it had taken over Austrian pellet trader Heizwert GmbH retroactively as of January 1, 2013, further expanding its direct business with end customers in Austria.
The takeover covers the vehicles fleet and storage facilities of the Austrian group and its wood chips operations. Heizwert will operate as an independent business unit within German Pellets. Managing directors Franz Schoerkhuber and Leopold Hoermann will remain part of the group.
Financial details were not mentioned.
Heizwert sells up to 35,000 tonnes of wooden pellets a year, including the FireStixx brand of the German company, German Pellets' spokeswoman Claudia Roehr said.
