(See News) – Mar 1, 2013 – Germany installed around 9,299 new photovoltaic (PV) systems with capacity of 274 MW in January 2013, according to the Federal Network Agency.

The country's total photovoltaic capacity thus reached 32.6 GW at the end of January.

Over the last three years solar capacity expanded by an annual of around 7,500 MW.

The Federal Network Agency also said that solar feed-in tariffs will stand at EUR 0.113 per KWh for facilities with capacity of between 1 MW and 10 MW, effective from March 1. Previously, the agency set a monthly decrease of 2.2% in solar feed-in tariffs for February, March and April.
