Fiba Group unit eyes EBRD loan for 75 MW of new solar in Turkey
Sep 17, 2024 15:21 CESTISTANBUL (Turkey), November 26 (SeeNews) – German solar module maker Aleo Solar said it is supplying 5.8 megawatts (MW) of photovoltaic (PV) modules for four solar plants in Turkey.
Turkish engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor Ekip Girisim Eneri will receive 20,000 solar modules from Aleo Solar to install a 3.0 MW roof-mounted solar plant in the northwestern Turkish city of Eskisehir, a 1.15 MW and a 1.0 MW roof-mounted solar system and a 650 kilowatt (kW) plant in the western Turkish city of Izmir, Aleo Solar said in a statement on Tuesday.
Aleso Solar’s modules have an efficiency value of more than 18.3% and are expected to generate 20% more energy on the same surface area than standard 250 watt solar modules, the German company added.
