Gonvarri Solar Steel supplies 39 MW of structures for PV parks in Panama Solar panels by iamme ubeyou.

Gonvarri Solar Steel, a subsidiary of Spain-based Gonvarri Industries, announced today it is delivering 39.36 MW of fixed solar structures for photovoltaic (PV) parks in Panama.

Specifically, the Spanish company is supplying its RackSmarT model to a 26.24-MWp solar plant located in the township of Progreso, Chiriqui province. Consisting of over 64,440 monocrystalline modules, this facility will be able to produce 41.85 GWh a year.

In addition to this agreement, during the second half of 2020, the renewables arm of the Gonvarri group has supplied a total of 13.12 MWp of its RackSmarT equipment for a plant in the town of El Roble, Cocle province.

To date, Gonvarri Solar Steel has delivered and installed 2.8 GW of the RackSmarT equipment alone, the firm says on its website. Worldwide, the company has a track record of more than 13 GW, it noted.
