Abdul Latif Jameel revives sale of FRV - report
Nov 12, 2024 17:03 CESTJan 18, 2012 - British renewable electricity supplier Good Energy Group Plc said Tuesday that it had closed 2011 with 28,346 electricity customers, 8% more than a year earlier, thanks to enhanced power trading systems and more flexible credit lines.
The company's gas customers grew by 66% on the year to 5,492.
As a result of its decision not to keep power prices at the same rate throughout the past year, unlike many of its peers, Good Energy managed to add many new customers, it said.
At the end of December, the company had 12,195 customers in its feed-in tariff (FiT) administration business, 11,000 more than in January 2011. That segment features households and operators of domestic and industrial solar power systems.
