German energy solutions company GP JOULE GmbH has ordered a 2-MW PEM electrolyser from H-Tec Systems, part of MAN Energy Solutions SE, for a green hydrogen project in Bremerhaven.

GP JOULE is in charge of the construction and operation of a green hydrogen production facility in the Grauwallring industrial estate as part of the HY.City.Bremerhaven project that was initiated in partnership with Green Fuels GmbH.

The H-Tec Systems-equipped plant will source electricity from a nearby wind farm to produce green hydrogen and supply it to a filling station at the depot of local bus company Bremerhaven Bus.

H-Tec Systems said that the delivery and installation of the electrolyser is planned for mid-2023.
