Sep 16, 2024 11:11 CESTJapan-based Green Science Alliance Co Ltd, which develops next-generation technologies for use in energy as well as in other fields, has invested in a Kyoto University start-up focused on perovskite solar cell research -- EneCoat Technologies Co.
EneCoat is working on more efficient and durable perovskite cells while also looking to develop lead-free perovskite cells to remove the lead generally used in this kind of cells.
Green Science Alliance, which is developing an electrode material for solar cells, will cooperate with EneCoat in conducting research and development activities. The two companies will also partner on the commercialisation of their technology, especially outside Japan.
