Irish renewable infrastructure company Greencoat Renewables Plc (LON:GRP) has signed a deal to supply up to 67 GWh of wind power annually to two local facilities of Singapore-based data centre real estate investment trust Keppel DC REIT (SGX:AJBU).

The contracted electricity will be procured from Greencoat’s Ballybane Phase 1 wind farm in County Cork under a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) which covers the entire output of the plant, the parties announced in separate statements on Thursday.

The deal secures 81% of the power demand at two Keppel data centres which are located in Dublin, advancing the company’s sustainability strategy to adopt renewable power to at least 50% of its global colocation assets by 2030.

Greencoat bought the Ballybane wind farm back in 2018.
