Nacap to build hydrogen pipeline for AGA’s Aussie green ammonia project
Sep 19, 2024 16:03 CEST(ADPnews) - Nov 4, 2010 - Australian geothermal company Greenearth Energy Ltd (ASX:GER) today said it embarked on a geophysical survey in the Victoria state in order to define the depth and structure of older basement rocks beneath the sediments.
Local company Moombarriga Geoscience Pty Ltd will conduct the survey in the Latrobe Valley and onshore Gippsland Basin regions in the state. The results of the survey may act as an indirect method to determine the location of potential hot sedimentary aquifer geothermal systems.
In addition, the thick coal measures within the Latrobe Valley provide for thermal insulation which increases the prospectivity of the area for geothermal development, Greenearth's managing director Mark Miller said.
