KKR fund increases tender offer price for Greenvolt
Sep 19, 2024 15:32 CESTGreenvolt Next announced today the launch of a new energy storage system that provides greater efficiency in the use of solar power.
The distributed generation (DG) unit of Portuguese renewables company Greenvolt - Energias Renovaveis SA (ELI:GVOLT) will offer the new Solar Storage offering in the 10 countries where it operates. According to the company, this new system can help business customers save up to 70% on their electricity bills when coupling it with solar arrays.
In addition to the traditional use in sunless periods, Solar Storage also enables the storage of energy from the grid for consumption when prices are higher.
Greenvolt Next noted that this new product is important for the growth of the group's pan-European self-consumption platform, which currently has a backlog of 312 MWp.
