KKR fund increases tender offer price for Greenvolt
Sep 19, 2024 15:32 CESTGreenvolt Energias Renovaveis SA (ELI:GVOLT) announced today that, through Greenvolt Next, it will deploy solar arrays for more than one third of the hotel units operated by the Vila Gale Group in Portugal.
More specifically, the company will install 2,331 photovoltaic (PV) panels with a combined capacity of 1.2 MWp, across 13 of the 31 hotel units in Vila Gale from the North to the South of Portugal. The agreement could even result in more installations, according to the press statement.
Once deployed, the solar panels will be able to generate 1,962 MWh annually.
“With Greenvolt Next we were able, without any investment, to provide several of our units with access to substantially cheaper energy, which is also completely clean, advancing the energy transition process and contributing to the much-needed decarbonisation of our economy”, adds the president and founder of the Vila Gale Group.
