French renewable energy company GreenYellow announced on Monday it will build a 3.96-MWp self-consumption solar rooftop system at an unnamed industrial client's factory in Campinas, Sao Paulo state.

The photovoltaic (PV) farm, which is scheduled to be up and running before the end of the year, is GreenYellow Brazil's first on-site contract for C&I customers since 2017, marking the firm's return to this market.

GreenYellow noted it has seven other plants of this type installed in Brazil for retailer Assai Atacadista. Overall, the French renewable energy company has 850 MWp of carport and rooftop systems, either operational or under construction worldwide.
