Trina Solar's intl biz gets EUR 150m to transition to European IPP
Sep 11, 2024 16:03 CESTNovember 16 (SeeNews) – Prodways, the 3D printing subsidiary of French robotics and automated systems producer Groupe Gorge SA (EPA:GOE), said on Monday it had acquired Exceltec, a France-based manufacturer of polymer materials for 3D printing, as part of a strategy to become the world’s third-largest multi-technology player in additive manufacturing.
Exceltec's range of polymer sintering powders will be integrated into Prodways’ materials offer under the ProMaker P series range, Groupe Gorge said. The acquisition, whose price was not disclosed, consolidates the position of Prodways in the selective laser sintering technology, it added.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
