Statkraft connects 44.5-MW solar farm to grid in Spain
Sep 19, 2024 15:28 CESTJul 4, 2013 - Spanish solar components maker Grupo Clavijo has entered the biomass segment, according to local energy portal Alimarket-Energia.
The company offers a biomass technology which has already been installed in two farms in the municipalities of Caparroso and Aranda de Duero.
By the end of the year Grupo Clavijo will try to complete a total 30 similar projects.
The biomass equipment has a capacity ranging from 100 kW to 400 kW.
Grupo Clavijo, based in Navarre, has been present in the renewable sector since 2004. The biomass division currently accounts for 2% of its turnover, which stood at EUR 18 million (USD 23.4m) in 2012.
