Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTRenewables held a share of 68% in Guatemala’s power mix in February after generating 77% of electricity the month before, according to the latest figures presented by the National Electric Energy Commission (CNEE).
With the exception of biomass and solar, power production from renewables was reduced allowing coal-based generation to increase its share.
Guatemala’s power mix in February is summarised in the table below:
