Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTHanergy Thin Film Power Group Ltd (HKG:0566) has opened 60 new stores and "user experience centres" across China, while also unveiling 20 new residential photovoltaic (PV) products, including a rooftop solar system.
The new sites are located in 21 provinces and cities countrywide, including Chengdu, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang and Xi’an. The Hong Kong-based company will aim to increase its centres at home to 300 by end-2015 and 1,500 through 2017, parent Hanergy Holding Group said in a statement.
In addition, the firm has officially launched its own online sales site, plus one on Internet retail major Alibaba.
Hanergy Thin Film makes equipment and turnkey production lines for amorphous silicon thin-film PV modules and also develops solar projects in China, the US and Africa. With these moves, the firm aims to broaden its service range and strengthen both its positions and profitability.
