Hidroelectrica sells 153,300 MWh of energy on domestic market - OPCOM

Romanian insolvent hydropower producer Hidroelectrica sold a total of 153,300 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity for some 36.1 million lei ($10.3 million/7.8 million euro) on Thursday and Friday on the domestic energy market, data from the country's power market operator OPCOM showed.

The company sold the energy in five lots. The average price was 235.68 lei per MWh, OPCOM data indicated.

State-controlled Hidroelectrica was declared insolvent in June.
