PNE wins 24 MW of onshore wind projects in German auction
Sep 19, 2024 8:35 CESTJul 29, 2013 - Hundreds of people from the German state of Bavaria went on a protest on Saturday against the expansion of wind power in the state, news agency DPA reported.
The protesters, which went on the streets in Munich, fear that the expansion of wind power plants would have a negative effect on the state's environment.
According to Matthias Gangkofner, spokesman for citizens' initiative Windradfreies Oberland, another protest will take place in Berlin.
A total of three citizens' initiatives are currently opposing the installation of wind power plants in the administrative district of Bavaria.
