Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTHungary's Lugos Renewables will hold 70% equity interest in the 73 MW Trebinje 1 photovoltaic plant project in Bosnia's Serb Republic, local media reported on Thursday.
The Serb Republic's power utility, Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS), will control the remaining 30% interest, news provider Indikator quoted ERS director general Luka Petrovic as saying.
in October 2020, ERS signed a 50-year concession contract with the energy ministry of the Serb Republic for the construction and operation of the Trebinje 1 PV plant, worth an estimated 100.75 million marka ($56.9 million/51.5 million euro).
In September 2021, ERS said it was in talks with Lugos Renewables for the construction and financing of the solar power plant project.
The plant is expected to produce some 130 GWh of electricity per year. It will spread on 120 hectares and should be commissioned in 2022, according to earlier statements.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
