Guatemala produced 45.4% of its power from renewable sources in September, up from a 33.5% share registered in August, according to a report by the country's National Electric Energy Commission (CNEE).

Last month’s increase was largely supported by hydropower, which boosted its share to 40.74% from 28.12% in August.
