Hydrogenics’s HyPM XR Series power modules will be an integral part of CommScope's fuel cell cabinets, which will be used as backup power solutions for a large number of wireless locations across North America.
Financial details were not provided, but Hydrogenics said the contract was the largest between it and CommScope since the formation of their strategic alliance in 2010.
The deal brings the total amount of orders received by Hydrogenics’s power systems business this year to over USD 100 million (EUR 76m), the Canadian company said.
