BP Bunge chairman becomes president of BP in Brazil
Sep 09, 2024 14:06 CESTSep 17, 2014 - Hydrous ethanol prices at fuel stations increased in 12 Brazilian states and fell in 12 other states in the week September 7-13, according to data released by Brazil's oil industry watchdog ANP.
The biggest hike was registered in the Rio de Janeiro state, where prices rose by 1.59% to BRL 2.481 (USD 1.064/EUR 0.822) per litre. Goias, on the other hand, was the state with the sharpest fall, by 0.91% to BRL 2.06 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of ethanol remained stable in two states, ANP added.
Ethanol continued to be more competitive than petrol only in the states of Sao Paulo, Parana, Goias and Mato Grosso.
