EIB, FirstRand Bank to provide EUR 400m for green projects in S Africa
Sep 13, 2024 10:36 CESTSep 22, 2011 - German photovoltaic (PV) systems provider IBC Solar said it delivered 132 PolySol modules and two inventors to the new Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) water boiling plant near Heidelberg, South Africa.
The facility, whose value was not disclosed, will generate some 50,000 kWh annually and contribute for the reduction of CO2 emissions by 29.5 tonnes per year.
The new water boiling plant was installed by South African Lapp Group, which will also be responsible for its maintenance, IBC Solar said.
