BlueFloat, China’s Dajin to partner on floating wind supply chain
Sep 19, 2024 15:04 CESTNov 18, 2013 - Spanish power utility Iberdrola (MCE:IBE) has agreed with six companies from the Basque Country to jointly develop an offshore wind project able to produce 7.2 GWh, daily Cinco Dias said on Saturday.
Iberdrola will take part in the Marin-El project with its civil engineering unit Iberdrola Ingenieria and its partners will be Velatia, Incoesa, Arteche, Ingeteam, Semantic Systems and Construcciones Navales del Norte (CNC).
Besides the development of offshore wind parks near Spain, the Spanish firm is already working on similar projects off the coast of Germany, the UK and France. Together with its Spanish offshore wind power initiatives, the Spanish group may reach an output of 10 GWh from these green energy source.
