Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CEST(SeeNews) – Dec 13, 2011 – India's provider of solutions for the renewable power sector Indarya Green Power Private Ltd has announced plans to set up an energy complex in Abdasa Taluka in the state of Gujarat, to include a 25 MW wind farm and 300 MW solar power generation capacity, the Economic Times said today.
The company said it had allocated INR 45 billion (USD 845m/EUR 641m) of investment for developing the project, which also envisages the establishment of a research and development facility for renewable energy and a facility to manufacture solar photovoltaic panels.
Indarya aims to install 3,000 MW of solar power capacity in the Asia Pacific region by 2014, with the technical control to be carried out remotely from Gujarat, with the help of satellite technology.
