Indian wind industry supplier Synergy Green lands Vestas order

Indian wind industry supplier Synergy Green Industries Ltd (BOM:541929) said on Friday that it has secured orders worth INR 1.64 billion (USD 19.5m/EUR 17.6m) from Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS).

The orders will be executed throughout the upcoming fiscal year, 2025-2026. They include parts for both 2-MW and 4-MW wind turbines and are split evenly between domestic and international requirements, Synergy Green said.

Synergy Green manufactures large-scale castings for wind turbine parts at its facilities in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The Danish turbine maker has been Synergy Green’s customer, accounting for over a third of its order book for nearly a decade, the Indian company said.
