India’s Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (BOM:542760) has made a successful bid for a INR-21-billion (USD 254m/EUR 236m) job on a gigawatt-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) project in the state of Gujarat.

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd has selected the company to undertake the Balance of System (BOS) work on the four 300-MW blocks that will make up a 1,200-MW solar project at the Khavda RE Power Park. The aggregate capacity of the plant amounts to 1,500 MW in direct current (DC).

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy pointed out that the bid value takes into consideration the provision of operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a period of three years. The formal Notice of Award (NOA) and contract signing are expected in due course, it added.
