NTPC’s green energy arm eyes USD 1.2bn from Indian IPO
Sep 19, 2024 11:52 CESTA subsidiary of Inox Green Energy Services Ltd (BOM:543667) has won an order from a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Indian government to provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services to a wind turbine portfolio in Tamil Nadu totalling 51 MW.
The company, which itself is a subsidiary of wind turbine maker Inox Wind Ltd (BOM:539083), said in a statement today that I-Fox Windtechnik India Pvt Ltd has been contracted to deliver comprehensive O&M, including power evacuation system, for a period of five years. The order is expected to generate about INR 400 million (USD 4.8m/EUR 4.4m) in total revenue, inclusive of taxes.
The customer is NLC India Ltd, a Navratna PSU of the government of India.
Commenting on the latest order, the CEO of Inox Green Energy Services, Mathu Sudhana, said that the firm is progressing towards its goal of reaching a wind O&M portfolio of 6 GW by fiscal year 2026, through a mix of organic and inorganic growth.
